Grade F £22,911 - £26,317 per annum
37 Hours per week

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our busy Income Management Team.   

The postholder will:   
  • Own the current income collection and arrears process within a defined geographical patch, as defined by policy and process to ensure appropriate recovery action is taken to reduce the level and incidence of arrears in line with annual targets.
  • Take legal action as appropriate and in line with policy to recover housing debt, including the service of notices, the completion of legal paperwork and the presentation of cases in court.
  • Establish and maintain strong, effective relationships with colleagues and external partners, the DWP and other advice agencies.


Experience of working in a social housing related area, with a working knowledge of Income recovery procedures is essential for this role.  

You will also need excellent written and communication skills , be able to adapt well and be confident in dealing with difficult situations as you will be expected to present cases at court.  

You will also need to hold GCSE’s in English and Mathematics at Grade C or above (or equivalent vocational or academic experience). You must also have the ability to use Microsoft Office Packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook to be able to assist in the compilation of statistics and reports.
